Partial vacuum using pulser pump
The pulser pump can produce a partial vacuum by pumping to at least
4 meters and letting the water fall back to earth through a pipe as shown.
You have to have a valve to get a regular constant "suck". I have tried
a long u tube instead of a valve but it does not work in a stable way.
It can be used to power filtration in a lab or to do vacuum drying. I do
not know if the vacuum drying application is that workable (you might
not be able to get a great enough vacuum) but vacuum filtration is certainly
easily achievable.
