This is an mp3 file that I recorded
on the psion 5 when I had to go back for my fathers funeral. It is the
sound of the pumping to about 4 feet high. There are 2 sounds, the
water leaving the pipe and the splashing as it hits the ground at the bottom.
It is pumping at around 8 liters per minute when you hear it (one watering
can per minute). My brother often uses it to fill up barrels of water to
take to a waterless field at the far end of the farm (for sheep) (you can hear the sheep in the background at the start of the recording).
