Above is the java pump calculator applet, which demonstrates how to
calculate the yield from your pulser pump site. You simply input
the height of your dam, the flow of water in your stream, the
height that you are pumping to and click calculate. Its easy!
I have put in the details in half meter increments because the system
is nonlinear. The numbers are based on my own experimental results. (Mostly
with a small pulser pump optimized for pumping to about 4 meters).
I am confident that you can beat these results (I erred on the conservative
side when doing the calculations).
Please give me feedback on this. It was a big deal to learn
that much java!
